Not usually, red blood is a sign of a miscarriage. Depending on your stage of pregnancy it may be that your waters are leaking however and you need to see a doctor as you may be at risk of infection.

Watery blood with blood clots can be a sign of miscarriage. You can also have an unusual menstrual cycle. If you have watery blood with blood clots you need to go to a doctor.
Possible fibroids!?
What about blood-tinged mucus that follows a normal bowel movement?
Your period shouldn't be like water, but watery in the sense of liquid is normal - your menstrual flow is made up of blood, tissue, mucus and discharge, but it's normal for there to be more blood than anything else which would make it more liquid.
A pregnant woman may have discharge from both breasts during pregnancy, even blood-tinged discharge during the last 2 months of pregnancy. or it cud b a tiny growth thats of no harm called a papilloma.
I started having red blood discharge at about 4 -5 hours after taking the cytotec...
This may be due to too much progesterone in your blood. You need to see your doctor for a blood test and breast examination.
If you're pregnant and are dropping blood clots (especially for a month!) you should definitely see a doctor immediately!
Brown discharge is usually discharged tinged with old blood. It can occur prior to or just after your period, and it can also indicate a yeast infection or a urinary tract infection. Another possibility is ovulation or pregnancy.
I know I did with both of my pregnancies and one pregnancy only lasted 3 months. So, I guess the answer there is yes but I imagine it could depend on each individual person. It is normal and healthy as long as the discharge is white, clear, or even a cream color and doesn't smell unusual. If the discharge is any other color, especially green (which is a sign of an infection) or even darker brown (which could be blood-tinged) you should get looked at or if it is accompanied by any other stuff like itching, burning, etc. Hope this helps! Probably. You need to call your doctor right away.
sometimes in early pregnancy you may not have even been aware that you were miscarring.perhaps a miscarriage was mistaken for a very heavy period but a few weeks into a pregnancy and a miscarriage was occuring, there would be quite a lot of blood loss accompanied with abdominal cramps.a clear bubbly discharge that contains no blood is not a miscarriage.if you are worried go to your g.p as you may have a very common vaginal infection.
