No. Wish it were that easy to get that darn light off! Make sure you have code checked to see that it is actually a bad Mass Air causing the light to go on. Many things can cause it.
Not necessarily.
On almost all cars any sensor unplugged can turn on the check engine light.
Check to see if you accidentally disconnected the wiring to the sensor at the rear wheels
Replacing the water pump will not cause the check engine light to come on. Either it is a coincidence or you have accidentally disconnected a wire or damaged a sensor somehow.
Maybe when new thermostat installed a vacuum hose was disconnected? Or perhaps a sensor was disconnected and was not noticed. I would do a visual check first looking for Hoses off and unplugged sensors. Then get the car scanned (free at autozone) Is the check engine light on ?
Where is the light sensor is on 2003 C 320, and how to check it. My dash board message says "1 Malfunction" check light sensor. Please help.. Thanks...
you should check your transmission, i have the same problem and it ended up being one of the gears being burned out, even after i disconnected the plugs, it could have something to do with a sensor but then again this is my experience
The cam sensor is inside the distributor and tells the computer the rotational location of the camshaft.
The oxygen sensor is one of many things that could turn the check engine light on.The oxygen sensor is one of many things that could turn the check engine light on.
Check your engine codes, your airbag is disconnected or blow or not installed?
It has two. VSS1 is located in the combination meter(gauge cluster) in the dash. I believe it cannot be replaced separately of the combination meter. VSS1 is located on the bellhousing of the transmission on top of the passenger side. There is a cable that connects the two that will cause a check engine light when disconnected or broken.
either a bad sensor somewhere, or a connection is disconnected
