My 91 eclipse has brake light problems the brake lights stay on whether i put my foot on the brake or not. how can i get them to start working again?

Turn your car to the on position, to where your battery,abs,airbag lights come on and listen for a click from under your back seat,might have a hum to the click. If it does click your fuel pump is working.
