My Auto headlight quite working when i released my parking brake the daytime running lights came on at sunset it switch to the headlight by itself now have to turn headlights on manually?

theres a fuse under the hood in the fuse box theres a relay (its small rectangled gray) labled athdl or similar... meaning autoheadlamp replace it... PS if you want your daytime driving lights to quit working just pull the dlr relay and put it in the autoheadlamp hole.... this will not hurt your vehicle at all it will only save your headlamp bulb some hours

Because your daytime running lamps use a reduced output of your high beam headlights. The low beam filament on your left headlight is out. Change your left headlight bulb, and your all set.

When you pop the hood open as you look on the headlight there should a long piece of tube metal that is holding the headlight onto your car. Had the same problem. Found it to be a bad ground wire for the headlights. There are two ground wires for the headlights, both are directly below the battery. You can see one of them if you remove the drivers side headlight. It is right behind the radiator hose. The other is a few inches from that one.

On a 2004 silverado how do you disconned light headlight dusk sensor?
In the owners manual it tells you how to turn off the daytime running lights and I think the dusk feature on headlights if not you could remove the relay for the dusk feature.
