Red is hot, black is not.
Possibly a bad ground in the rear wiring harness somewhere.
the hot wire goes to the starter and the ground wire bolts to the engine block.
It's rear wheel drive so you want to tow it with the rearend off the ground.
It is in the top left section of the hood. the top left if you are facing the grille of the car. it has a hose connected to it and it has to have a ground to it. on my car it didnt have a ground so it was not working i had to get a new blower motor but it has to have a ground. i used a screw and wrapped a wire around it. it does not blow very hard. hope this helps.
if there are no bolts in the door jamb then they are welded in and need to be ground down and new ones welded on
could be a ground problem. Try replaceing those rubber mounted groments
I took a piece of electric wire and hook it to the motor of the windshield wiper and place it on any metal part of the car and it start working again someone told me that windshield wipers sometimes lt has to do with electrical ground . but any way it worked. loldianedj
check the ground wires on each side of the rad. if there is a poor ground it will cause all kinds of electrical problems, like the wipers turning on,lights not working, transmission not engaging to name a few.
I have read a common problem with the 90-93 Oldsmobile cutlass is that the ground on the shift silinoid can cause it to lose 3rd and 4th gear, I am trying to figure out where it is located. Please if you know email scott@moteladvertising.com
Yes they do, if only for use on the ground.
The coolant fan may have a blown fuse. The electric motor, on the coolant fan may be not working. The ground wire on the cooling fan may be corroded or loose.
Add it the same place you check it, through the dipstick tube. Check the level with the transmission hot, in park, engine running, on level ground. Use only Dexron fluid. Do not overfill!!!!!
