On a 2000 Olds Intrigue where is the crankshaft position sensor located?

If engine is hard to start cold or hot and engine light is OK.
Very common problem for this engine in Aurora 3.5 and Intrigue 3.5 is crankshaft position sensor. Which is located above and behind starter. Starter must be removed first.

Lower right hand side of the engine just above the oil pan. Theres a single bolt that holds it in.

It's fairlly simple to replace once you find it."; You will find a sensor there but not the crankshaft sensor. On a 99 Intrigue with a 3.5L, the crankshaft position sensor is in the engine block just above and behind the starter. get under the car, remove the starter and you should find what you are looking for.
