Our Hyundai Excel drivers side window goes down but is very hard to get back up. Can anyone please tell me how to fix this myself. Thanks?

Possibly the front edge has come out of the track. Are you sure it is in the middle of the channel? Power or manual doesn't matter. If power, the motor may be getting weak. The drivers window gets more use than the other ones. If it's the track, take the door panal off and there should be a bolt or screw at the bottom of the door that will let you adjust the track. You may need to bend the bracket to get it aligned. Spray the track on the bottom of the window and any pivot points with WD40 or something similar while you have the chance.

I believe it is on the drivers side behind the fuse box. I am dealing with this myself. It has 3 prongs and there is a relay switch beside it. My fusible link gets hot.
