  1. i DONT REMEMBER THE FIRING ORDER FROM MEMORY, BUT HERE'S WHAT YOU , DO M THE DISTRIBUTOR CAP ON THOSE ENGINES IS NUMBERED 1-4 OF COURSE , i KNOW THE THEN NUMBER ONE PLUGS IS ON THE FRONT SIDE OF DISTRIBUTOR CAP, ANND NOT SURE WHETHER ITS LEFT OR RIGHT, THE NUMBERS OF THE CYLINDER IS THERE IN RAISED NUMBERS , CLEAN IT OFF AND YOU WILL SEE, NOW DIRECTLY BELOW THE DISTRIBUTOR CAP, ON THE INTAKE THE FIRING ORDER IS CLEARLY VISIBLE ON WHICH IS THE NUMBER ONE CYLINDER AND SO THROUGH THE FOUR PLUGS, SO WHAT YOU DO IS TAKE A PIECE OF MASKING TAPE PUT THE PLUG-WIRE INTO THE DISTRIBUTOR CAP MARKED NUMBER ONE AND WRITE ONE ON IT , LOOK AT THE FIRING ORDER ON THE INTAKE AS I MENTIONED EARLIER AND FORM THE LEFT PLUG TO RIGHT WHILE STANDING IN FORM OF THE CAR IS HOW YOU DO THIS PROCESS, TAKE THE EVERYTHING YOU HAVE ONE THE CAP OFF TO BEGIN WITH MARK THE FIRST PLUG-WIRE LIKE I SAID AND THEN LOOK AT FIRING ORDER AND THEN STICK THE FIRST ONE , THEN OF COURSE GO TO THE SECOND PLUG AND SO ON, THEY Dodge SHADOW ENGINE IS A BIT PICKY ABO9UT ROTOR BUTTONS AND CAPS , THEY ONLY COST ABOUT 11 BUCKS OR SO , BUT THEY ARE REALLY BAD TO GET WET AND GET A HAIRLINE CRACK IN THEM SO BE SURE YOU BUY A NEW CAP AND ROTOR, THEY REALLY ARE THAT PICKY, THE DAG GONE CAP IS SO CLOSE TO THE FRONT BY RADIATOR THAT RAIN GETS THEM WET EASIER THAN THEY SHOULD AND THEY WILL CRACK, NOW BE SURE YOU GAP THE PLUGS AS THEY ARE NEVER RIGHT COMING OUT OF THE BOX, JUST GO WITH THE STANDARD PLUG THAT CAME IN THE CAR, NO SPLIT PLUGS OR NOTHING FANCY ,ITS A WAIST F MONEY, I STILL HAVE MINE AND I BOUGHT IT NEW AND ITS HAS WELL OVER 230K ON IT AND STILL STARTS AND RUNS FINE, A LITTLE SMOKE HERE AND THER BUT STILL QUICK AS EVER, THOSE Mitsubishi ENGINES ARE WICKED LITTLE MONSTERS .IF YOU GET LOST email ME OR IF YOU HAVE A OREILLY'S AUTO STORE CLOSE BY CALL AND ASK FOR FIRING ORDER ON THE CAR CAR AND THEY WILL TELL YOU , REMEMBER THE KEY IS THAT THE DISTRIBUTOR CAP IS MARKED WITH A RAISED NUMBER ON THE PLUG HOLE SO THAT YOU CAN BE SURE TO GET IT RIGHT, FOR LESS THAN 30 BUCKS YOU CAN REPLACE THE WIRES,PLUGS AND CAP AND ROTOR AND IF TTHE PLUGS WAS THE ONLY ISSUE THEN YOU SHOULD BE AS GOOD AS NEW, HOPE YOU HAVE SUCCESS, IM A DODGE FAN, SO I REALLY THINK THEY MAKE A GREAT PRODUCT , THEY HAVE SOME CRAP THEY SELL AND THE SHADOW WAS NOT ONE OF THOSE. THESE ENGINES ARE NOTORIOUS FOR EATING ROTORS AND DISTRIBUTOR CAPS, I KID YOU KNOT I SOMETIMES PUT THEM IN AS MUCH AS TWICE A YEAR.
