Tools to start with. One Phillips screw driver at least 7" long. One flash light. Begin by taking a look at the front cover (bumper) grill. It is normally painted black & is not the same color as the car. On the out board portion of the grill near the park assy. there will be a small square hole. At least 6"deap within the hole will be the Phillips screw you have been looking for.Go ahead & turn counter clockwise. Wala. You have just earned about $2.10 or so in labor . Oh, by the way, the park bulb is special. You will need to go to a NAPA or such a store to purchase It's about $5.00 plus.

My 1997 Honda Accord was crashed into a snow bank, broke front left turn signal light(Bulb+assembly). Soon after the crash, the rear left turn signal began blinking rapidly. Several days after, the whole turn signal system shut down (all four blinkers stopped blinking). I replaced the bulb+assembly for the left, turn signal switch, and turn signal relay and checked the fuses. The hazard lights work, but the turn signals don't. I did everything I could replacing parts. Does anyone know what is wrong with my accord?

Remove the turn signal bulb/socket retainer ring from the assembly, by turning counterclockwise. Remove the turnsignal bulb/socket from the assembly. to re-assemble simply do the reverse. . "G"
you have to remove the entire head-light/turn-signal assembly to get to the bulbs. There are these plastic clips on either side of the ENTIRE asembly, just pull them up and the entire assembly comes free. Remove the rubber stoppers on the back and then you need to twist the bulb housing to remove it from the asembly. The bulbs themselves just pull out.
you must remove the inside trim panel and unbolt the assembly from the inside

On my 1997 Mystique I had same problem. I searched forever and found it finally. It is attached to the turn signal assembly itself. It looks like a black 1 inch cube. You will need to remove the cover that surrounds the steering column. On my 1997, that was just 3 screws. The switch is then easily accessed and pulls right off the backside of the turn signal assembly that is attached to the steering column. I hope this helps ya.
