That would defeat the entire purpose of the Free Exercise Clause. The Supreme Court would almost certainly agree that certain actions (human sacrifice, for example) would remain illegal even if the accused claimed such acts were part of religious practices. However, if we limit protection to only specific religions, there is no longer any value in having the protection at all.
The 1st Amendment guaranteed the freedom of religion. In fact, in guarantees both the freedom to establish religion and the freedom to practice religion. Other rights guaranteed in the 1st Amendment include freedom of speech and freedom of the press.
