if ur talking about speech AND drama...technically, they are two different things. Basically, speech mainly deals with communication while drama deals with theatre. They are connected. Both deal with words and expressions.
I earned a A.A. in Speech and Theater at a community college, however just an associate degree will not open many job opportunities. It does looks good on a resume. I'm now pursing/finishing up my degree in Theatre Education at Austin Peay State University. Once I graduate I will be able to teach in Knd through 12 grade schools. In my opinion, discover why you want to/did study theatre. For me it was because I wanted to teach. If theatre is what you really want to earn a degree in, then you may want to earn a B.A. or B.F.A. in Theatre Education, Acting, Directing, Design, or Playwright. The B.A. or B.F.A. is more likely to get you job opportunities at regional, professional, and academic theater companies. Lighting and special effects wouldn't have been an option for the cast at the Globe Theatre. A basic set, costumes and props is all the cast would have had to perform Shakespeare's works. The actor's skill alone would have to transform the bland stage in the middle of the day, into a scene that could take place at night, etc. This is precisely the reason for the eloquent speech and descriptions of the settings in the dialogues, monologues, and soliloquys in Shakespeare's plays.

A speech by a single actor is called a Monologue.
Speech choir is a performance where participants deliver a synchronized spoken word piece, using voice inflections and gestures. Chamber choir is a smaller vocal ensemble that sings in harmony, often without accompaniment. Both involve group performances, but speech choir focuses on spoken word while chamber choir focuses on vocal music.
No. Compare means to look at the similarities, and contrast means to look at the differences.
figure of speech according to categories
Well there is not really similarities. Inset panels are a type of furniture for things to put in. But speech balloons are something you put in comics, so there is NO similarities.
Similarities between similes and metaphors are that they both compare two things that are not related and they are both termed a figure of speech, which ironically is a metaphore.
Text is description, discourse is speech.
Conversational speech is informal, spontaneous, and often includes slang and colloquial expressions. It is used in everyday interactions with friends and family. Academic speech, on the other hand, is more formal, structured, and follows specific rules of grammar and vocabulary. It is used in educational settings, professional contexts, and for presenting research or scholarly work.
A talk is generally more informal, interactive, and conversational in nature, often involving back-and-forth communication with the audience. A speech is typically more formal, structured, and one-sided, with the speaker delivering information to the audience without as much interaction.

Any statements that are deemed Libelous under the law. Of course yelling 'fire' in a theatre has been ruled not protected speech.
