I have a 97 Buick Lesbre thermostat control temp blink every time I start my car and also blow cold air out what could be the problem?
Have you checked you heater control valve or heater core if working properly.
Answer There could be several reasons why a car heater doesn't blow hot air and they are as follows. 1. The Thermostat is no longer functioning properly 2. Could be that the radiator is old and not enough anti freeze flows properly. 3. Water pump could be on the way out. 4. Maybe you are low on anti freeze 5. There is a thing called the heater core, if this heater core isn't working properly you won't get heat. Hope these answers help.
If you have lost a sufficient amount of coolant this will stop the heater working because there will be no hot water in the heater rad.
yes.
No
The heater blower may not be working properly. Without the heater blower working, the air will not come through the vents.
Your car could be low on antifreeze or your heater core could be clogged. With my car, it was Heater matrix clogged with radiator sealant. The workshop cleaned it and it's start working fine!
The heater core can leak get pluged up or simply wear through with time. When they leak it will probly leak engine coolent into the cabin of the car or truck. When they get pluged up your heater will not heat the car and the coolant system of the car will not operate properly to cool the car.
Make sure the heater is not on, sometimes the door in the heater/ac box is not working properly or the valve controlloing the hot water to the heater is not stopping the flow. An ac will not out perform a heater. The last thing it could be is that the evaporator is freezing up, or there is a clog in the line somewhere.
If the handbrake assembly is working properly it shouldn't.
yes
If you use propane or natural gas in your home, you should have your system checked by a professional to make sure it is working properly. You should also install carbon monoxide alarms in your home. In your car, make sure that your muffler is working properly and doesn't have holes in it. If you are using the heater in your car, you should crack your windows to let in some outside air.
