If the fuses all check out then the problem is most likely in either the 4-way switch in the dash (to the right side of the steering wheel), or the turnsignal switch itself .
If you were to pry out that switch and pull off the cable-plug from the back of the 4-way swicth and then try it NOTHING should flash (it ALL goes thru that switch).
If your issue is that when you move the signal lever all 4 lights flash (cannot flash only left or only right side) then you most likely have a short in your wireing, probably towards the rear of the vehicle between the left and right turnsignal wires.
Hope this helps.
The 2002 Mitsubishi Montero Sport in LS trim is 4WD. However, the XLS and LTD trims such are 2WD.
The 1992, 1993, 1994, 1995, 1996 & 1997 Mitsubishi Montero LS takes a 14" replacement rear wiper blade. Note however, when buying wipers be sure to always lookup your vehicle make, model and year in the application guide book at the store
I have MitsubishI Montero Limited 2001 with 74,000 miles on it. During the winter I had few times situation where gear shifter felt like it was "sticking" moving in a "thick oil", I attributed that to a cold weather. Just yesterday I came back from vacation (took different car) got into Montero and had problem shifting, it feld like shifter is moving in a thick mud. After few tries, I was able to drive in reverse, however shifting into "drive" is difficult and requires few tries before it catches. It feel almost like there is a glue in the gear box. Any idea what to look for?
MOST ARE NOT-however not all, you need to know exactly which engine version you have. There are about 7 possible engines that year-here are most common/likely. 4G64 is an interference motorlike the 4G63,and 4G69 however, the early 8-valve 4G64 is a non interference engine.
For safety reasons, you should fix the problem so that you blinkers work correctly. This is a fairly common problem and the cost to repair will likely be minimal. For inspection purposes, however, your blinkers only need to work correctly during the inspection.
Modern alternators almost always have their voltage regulator attached to the back of the alternator itself. Most often it is combined with the brush holder so you could say it's "built in", however that is not strictly true as it is removable without dissasembly of the entire alternator. Unless I am mistaken the Montero alternator is of this design. You should NOT expect to find an external voltage regulator anywhere on one of these vehicles. Hope this helped.
A Mitsubishi Evo 8 gives an MPG of about 25. However; reset your meter to get exact mileage.
Mitsubish Motors was founded April 22, 1970 as a spin off of Mitsubishi Heavy Industries however the progenitor of Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Mitsubishi Shipbuilding Co., Ltd., was producing cars as early as 1917.
Many of Mitsubishi's tractors are manufactured in India. However, the individual parts of the tractor are manufactured in various places around the world.
Mine does not, however some may.
A new Mitsubishi Evo 4 can be purchased or ordered from most Mitsubishi dealers worldwide, however some dealers in certain countries offer to sell the car also.
if you are getting signals from someone and you're not sure what they mean by those signals I wouldn't say that's mixed signals I'd just say they were confusing signals. however if you get a clear signal from someone and then another clear signal/reaction that contradicts it, then you would have received mixed signals.
