Best is a relative term. The best diet is always the one you can keep. Twenty pounds in two months is not a very realistic goal, however. Healthy weight loss is about a pound a week. You can try Atkins, which does deliver quick results initially, but it is very difficult to keep the weight off.

Is it a good idea to go on the diet solution program?

I personally feel that you should watch your fat, Carb, and calorie intake very closely. Before any drastic diet, you should exercise at least four times per week. Try and find a friend or family member in a similar position to be your partner in this, as it is proven that positive support creates positive results.

I have been on Depo for 15 years and have not had a period Last week started a low fat and low carb diet and now suddenly have got my period this week Do you think that it is due to the dieting?

I have been on Depo-Provera for many years and every time I go low-carb, I have breakthrough bleeding!! I tell my doctor and nurses and I don't think they believe it's more than a coincidence. Unfortunataly, low-carb is the only diet that works for me! The good think my Dr. can prescribe a daily cenestin or premarin tablet - after a week or two that stops it

Best plan to lose 50 pounds in three months?

The best plan to lose 50lbs and keep it off is to incorporate a regular exericise routine and clean-eating habits into your life. This may or may guarantee your weightloss results in three months, but it will ensure that the weight you lose will have a better chance of staying off. If you have a diet high in fiber and protein you will be able to ingest less calories while still feeling full and satisfied. Also, if you can't afford to go to the gym just throw on your sneakers and go for a walk/jog 3-5days a week for 30 minutes. It's an easy, yet effective way to incorporate exercise into your life. Try to stick to a weightloss of 2lbs per week as this is the healthy and recommended amount of weightloss for an individual.
