Tunisia, Libya, Egypt, Chad, Sudan, Niger, Benin, Nigeria, Cameroon, Ethiopia,

Equatorial Guinea, Gabon, Congo, Somalia, Kenya, Tanzania, Angola, Zambia,

Mozambique, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Uganda, Rwanda, Burundi,

Malawi, Zimbabwe, Namibia, Botswana, Madagascar, Comoros, Swaziland,

and South Africa are all east of the Prime Meridian.

All of the others can also be reached by traveling in an easterly direction from

the Prime Meridian, though for a much longer time than any of those listed.

Since the Earth is a sphere (ball-shaped), you can start out in EITHER direction

from the Prime Meridian and reach any country you want to reach.

If you're in Africa and ON the Prime Meridian, then you could be in Algeria, Mali,

Burkina Faso, Togo, or Ghana.

Depending on which one you're in, if you then head directly east, the first international

boundary you cross could take you into Tunisia, Libya, Niger, or Benin. But that still

leaves several more countries to cross before you leave Africa.
