There were many differences between the assassination of the two men. For one, the choice of weapons. Other differences were that although there may have been some type of conspiracy in the Kennedy killing, it was close knit. Caesar's assassination was more widespread as far as the conspirators were concerned. We know why Caesar was assassinated, but we don't know why JFK took a hit. All we have regarding JFK's murder is theories. There were many differences between the assassination of the two men. For one, the choice of weapons. Abraham Lincoln and John F. Kennedy were both noted for their wit. When Lincoln was asked how long a man's legs should be, he answered "Long enough to reach the ground." When Kennedy was asked by a young boy how he became a hero in World War II, Kennedy told him "It was easy. They sank my boat." (Kennedy helped rescue the crew of the PT boat he commanded, including towing one sailor by his life jacket, with the strap between Kennedy's teeth. The rescue helped ruin Kennedy's back.)
No similarities whatsoever.
The first televised debate between two Presidential candidates was between Nixon and Kennedy.

No. Both Lincoln and Kennedy were Presidents who were shot and killed while in office, Lincoln in April 1865 and Kennedy in November 1963. Biographers have noted odd similarities between the two assassinations, although they were almost completely different circumstances. Lincoln was first elected in 1860 and Kennedy was elected in 1960.

Abraham Lincoln was assassinated by a southern sympathizer and actor:John Wilkes Booth. If the south conspired with Booth to kill Lincoln, the reason could be the confederate loss, thusforth linking the result of the civil war to the assassination of our 16th president .
he was assassinated...isn't that interesting? There are weird similarities between Abraham Lincoln and John F. Kennedy. * Abraham Lincoln was elected to Congress in 1846. John F. Kennedy was elected to Congress in 1946. * Abraham Lincoln was elected President in 1860. John F. Kennedy was elected President in 1960. * Both were shot in the back of the head in the presence of their wives. * Lincoln was shot in the Ford Theatre. Kennedy was shot in a Lincoln, made by Ford * Both wives lost their children while living in the White House. *Both Presidents were shot on a Friday. * Lincoln's secretary was named Kennedy. * Both were succeeded by Southerners named Johnson. * Andrew Johnson, who succeeded Lincoln, was born in 1808. Lyndon Johnson, who succeeded Kennedy, was born in 1908. * Lincoln was shot at the theater named 'Ford.' Kennedy was shot in a car called 'Lincoln' made by 'Ford.' * Lincoln was shot in a theater and his assassin ran and hid in a warehouse. Kennedy was shot from a warehouse and his assassin ran and hid in a theater. * Booth and Oswald were assassinated before their trials.
These are ordinary Lincoln Cents that a private company stamped with a rather crude portrait of John Kennedy. They were sold for about $1 glued to a card that listed several "amazing" similarities between the two assassinated Presidents. Like Lincoln was shot in the Ford Theater and Kennedy in a car built by the Ford Motor Co (a Lincoln). Kennedy had a secretary named Lincoln and Lincoln had a secretary named Kennedy. About the only similarity listed that is 100% accurate is that both were succeeded by a Vice President named Johnson. Are you sure it's not Kennedy and Lincoln? These usually sell for about a dollar if it is still glued to the card that lists the "amazing similarities" between these two assassinated Presidents. If it really is Edison, you probably have the only one, but that doesn't make it valuable. It's just another penny counterstamped by a novelty company.
