I didn't know for the longest time either. I finally saw why in Europe. The answer is...Its for when you park your car along a curb or on the side of the road. Depending on which side you park on, you can turn the designated parking light on so as the car will be visible at night to people who are driving on that road or street. It makes the car visible so no one hopefully hits it driving by. Hope This Helped. Joe
The parking lights on a two-door 1990 Acura Integra hatchback are located in between the headlights and the blinker lights. Replacement requires a size 3652 parking light bulb.
Check the fuses.
They're on a different circuit. The parking and dash lights go through the headlight switch. It could be the switch, a bad wire/connector or a burned fuse.
Probably the rubber bumper/stopper which depresses the brake switch is gone/disintegrated. Check beneath the brake pad for broken pieces. Without this piece in place, the switch is always closed and therefore powered to light up the lights.

The fuse panel is under the dash by the driver. If your parking lights are also out, your headlight/parking light/turn signal switch is bad.
Premium. Always.

You may have a blown fuse or a wire loose. Check these things to see if that is the problem.
cut all electric resources from the car.
Yes. kits are cheap too.
Try looking for a blown fuse.
