The 1994 Pontiac Grand Prix gear selector wire can be found beneath the center console. The gear selector wire will go to the instrument panel.
the side of your transmission.. and its not a sensor its a gear.
From page 46 of a 1966 Volkswagen Owners Manual, the gear ratios are: 1st gear 3.80:1 2nd gear 2.06: 1 3rd gear 1.26:1 4th gear 0.89:1 Reverse 3.88: 1
Similar, but different overall gear ratios.
I own 1 2002 and 1 2001 trans am ws6, both have a 3.42 rear end ratio, that was the standard gear for the ws6 from the factory. The collector edition ws6 had a option for a slightly lower gear.
it only for going up hills in sort
1st 3.250 2nd 1.650 3rd 1.033 4th 0.823 final 3.888
It all depends on the final drive ratio of the highest gear in the transmission. This varies in transmissions of the same type ie:a t-56 depending on the original use, the best thing to do is to get the casting numbers off of the trans you want to use and Google it you will be able to find a list of gear ratios for that specific trans. You can also research the type of trans you want to use and see what ratios where used then pick the best one for your application and start looking either way it is not the number of gears but the ratio of the highest gear that will determine your highway milage
At the end of the starter motor shaft. Remove the starter and look in the opening that faced the transmission and you will see the gear.
Reduction ratios: 1st gear 2.45:1 2nd gear 1.45:1 3rd gear 1:1 Overdrive 0.69:1 Reverse 2.22.1
