Computer Viruses can be use to steal personal information such as bank accounts and social security numbers. Others will try to "scare" you into buying a product such as a fake anti-virus program. Others will simply damage your computer.

You can protect yourself by investing in a Anti-Virus software, don't download things you don't need, don't view adult webpages, don't click on Ads such as: "you are the 999,999th visitor, click here you claim your prize!", and be careful of mistyping a URL such as goggle instead of Google, as some viruses use those typing errors to get you.
