What can i do to stop that knocking sound coming from your car it happens when i drive or have the car on?

Usually when a car is making a knocking noise it is a very bad thing, which usually leads to engine failure and throwing a rod. I've had this same problem with my intrepid and was able to fix this by replacing a worn bearing on the crank. This is a deep engine job so make sure you keep track of your parts and do it safe and plan to spend 4+ hours on it.
