And it was 95 degrees out with a newborn baby and a 5 year old. It was very frustrating! My dad came over to my home, went under the glove compartment to the wiring for the AC, and found that there was a short in the wiring. He taped it up real good with Duct Tape, and it works just fine.
I have a 2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited and the same thing happened. I took it to the mechanics and they said the fan was corroded and they banged on it and it worked.
The blower motor is failing and drawing too many amps.
Loose connection or blower motor? Bad blower motor? Loose fuse? Bad fan switch?
Running the blower on high for extended periods of time. The factory should do a recall do to faulty engineering.
your oil pump could be failing
I figured my own question out....all it was, was the fuse.
Mine is doing the same thing, keep having to pull fuse to stop it
Check the resistance on the blower motor.
Common causes, blower motor resistor, blower motor, wiring or controls
Blower speed resister is burned out.
check the wireing harnesses
the blower fan resistor has gone bad.
If the blower runs on high it will get hot. If the blower is wearing out this will cause it to get to hot and blow.
