I have found this to be a gas problem mostly. It can be ignition related but I would ensure the filters are clean and changed for fuel and air. Check fuel pressures and sensors in the fuel system. Bad wires to sparkplugs or bad plugs can cause this. Usually the problem is also going on at speed but because the time to feel it is so short it sometimes feels like its gone. To help find a certain cylinder having problems go out and start the cold car for about 30 seconds. Then feel the exhaust right at the mounting point of the engine where it leaves the individual cylinders. They should be warm If one is still cold that cylinder is not firing and should be checked.
