That could be a variety of things - could be overheated (radiator) could have blown a gasket (oil) could have a hose that is off or loose.
Best to get it checked.
white smoke can be either your car overheating, or smoke from an electrical issue
not the perfect air fuel mixture. normal under load and acceleration.
Where is the smoke coming from? If it's the engine you may have bad valve covers or something is burning up from under the hood. Check the source and check it fast. If it comes from the tailpipe you may have a catalytic converter problem.
Possibly the power steering pressure hose. It leaks onto the manifold and smoke comes out from behind the engine near the firewall.
The emanation from smoke from the under the hood should be treated as a possible emergency. The vehicle should immediately pull over to safe area. Smoke causes can range from a minor oil spill on hot engine/exhaust surfaces to major cooling systems and to highest severity engine fires.
Blown head gasket. Take to dealer immediately.
my dodge has the same problem, it is the power steering return hose being cracked or cut.
no it is not illegal for under 16's to smoke in the UK
A bad PCV can cause the engine to be pressurized internally, thus forcing oil out of important seals. This can cause a white/blue smoke from your tailpipe when the oil is then burned. A clogged PCV will also cause the engine to loop while idling, and possibly hesitate under acceleration.
The white smoke under hood might be as a result of a mechanical problem. The reason may be because the timing belt is rubbing itself under something under the hood.
No.
Yes. Even most 8 graders smoke.
