If like me this drove me mad and i tried every man and his dog to fix it but couldent. if you flick the ignition / key does it reset and is ok for a bit. If so it is a gearbox sensor about £15 .hope it works
i have a jsii vectra could be ur fuse i can take mine out and light my fronties up lockd in 1st gear its a 10 amp RED between 2 yellows on the bottom row near the end on right side im from N.Z so urz maybe different
your traction control light came on because either you turned off your traction control or your car needs brake fluid
Either your Traction Control is turned off or there is a problem with the system.
The speedometer needs to work in a vehicle for safety and informative reasons. The causes of it intermittently working could be the lack of electricity, or a problem with the sensor.Ê
Bad flasher?

The VSC warning light is a monitor of your Variable Skid Control which is a part of your brake system. It is indicating that it senses a problem with your brake system. Have it diagnosed ASAP!
You most likely have a bad vehicle speed sensor, it's what gives the signal to the spedo. And it is tied into your cars powertrain control system, that's why the check engine light is on.

There is a push button on the shifter right where your thumb is, that is the trac button. Under normal driving conditions keep it off. Turn it on when it is wet or snowing for better traction control. If you have problems with your abs the light may stay off permanently as the traction control feature is actually the automatic application of the brakes to maintain even traction between the drive wheels.
Check the fuse first.
The bottom of your shoe or boot or sandal that causes traction.
The warning light will stay on, in your 2003 Ford expedition, when there is an issue with the traction control system. A diagnostic tester will pinpoint the problem.
