Mormons never had a colony. The religion wasn't founded until 1830 in Palmyra New York.

There were a few Latter-day Saint communities following that: the most well-known were in Kirtland Ohio and Nauvoo Illinois before they were finally driven out by persecutors, traveled west, and settled in Salt Lake City Utah in 1847.

The Mormons didn't really establish "colonies" but rather cities and towns. Mormons established hundreds of towns throughout the western and Midwestern United States as well as some in northern Mexico and southern Canada, it would be impossible to name them all here. Some of the most well known are Salt Lake City and Las Vegas.
