I would think someone spilled it while adding fluid. Clean it up and keep an eye on it. Check the tranny fluid level. Are you sure it is tranny fluid? Red coolant can look like tranny fluid. Clean off the area and watch your fluid levels.
Could be your speed sensor on your transmission
Yes it could. If you put power steering fluid in the transmission you need to change the transmission fluid.
CAR WONT START Transmission may not shift. Check engine light could be on.
could be a sheered parking pin inside the transmission or the shifter linkage needs adjusting either way best left to a transmission shop is not to fimiliar with automatic transmissions
My 98 intrepid would not shift out of second when one of the transmission sensors went out. I think it was about $125 to replace at the dealer. There is a second transmission sensor that went out at another time. The speedometer did not work then. Same price to fix.
It could, it was an option.
could be the transmission is low on fluid... could be the transmission is low on fluid...
it could havebeen built with it or with out
It could be, yes.
Verry easy with a awd intrepid , but its not bolt on , always thing to modify and adjust ;) but it could be done :)
Both codes involve the transmission. The P0700 is the code for the computer not being able to communicate with the transmission control unit (TCM) probably from a corroded connection or faulty module. The P0750 code is the transmission shift solenoid not connecting or open, which could be another connection problem or a worn-out coil. any good transmission shop can fix both and service the transmission while at it.
There are many different reasons why a 2000 Intrepid could be overheating. It could be that the radiator hoses are bad, or the block is cracked, or the water pump is malfunctioning. It could also be as small as a hose clamp not being tight, or a thermostat sticking.
