can you cranck the engine by hand
There are many reasons why an engine will sputter when revved. There may not be enough fuel getting to the engine, there may not be enough electricity getting through the car, or the computer could be going out.
that's funny because I have a 350 Chevy engine that's is doing that as we speak.theres a few reasons it could be doing that. It could be something as simple as getting carb cleaner and cleanin your carb cause when it gets even a spec of dirt in there it can cause it to backfire.if that doesnt work try changing the spark plugs and if that doesnt work than you have a deeper problem which would be that your timing is off which is what wrong with mine.
change the engine
Could be many reasons. Help us answer that question by giving us the year, make, model and engine info.
The thermostat would be the first thing I would check.
If no engine light is on it could be fuel filter
Could be getting into engine. Check tailpipe emissions for white smoke.
The engine might not be getting any fuel. The engine may also have weak or no fire at the spark plugs. Check these two places to find the problem.
There can be many reasons why a persons vehicle shakes. The computer could be going bad, the engine mounts could be going out, there may not be enough gas or electricity getting to the engine.
Check to see if engine has fuel at carburetor and if it's getting spark at the spark plugs. If both fuel and spark are good then the problem could be with the timing settings or timing belt/chain is worn out/broken.
it means she thinks your good looking, and wouldn't mind getting it on with you but she doesnt like you as much as this other person or it could just mean she is using you it means she thinks your good looking, and wouldn't mind getting it on with you but she doesnt like you as much as this other person or it could just mean she is using you
Could be either a rod bearing that doesnt move much until a load has been put on the engine or could be a sticking lifter - hard to tell as either sound changes when a load is put on the engine
It could be the fuel relay is stuck.
It could be the fan switch mounted on the n/s of the radiator. Easy job, but if you've overheated the engine there may be further problems. Phil
grey exhaust smoke is caused by your engine burning oil during the combustion process. this could be caused by a piston ring that doesnt properly seal, or another leak in your engine.
There could be many reasons as to why this car is running rough. The engine may be overheated, the mount may be destroyed, it may not be getting enough fuel, or there could be a lack of oil.
it is not an exhaustable resource to get exhaused......... but sometimes soil erosion could cause the soil to become infertile but that doesnt mean it is getting exhaused it is just moving from one place to another
1. It could be caused by the oil pump is worn. 2. It could be from worn rod bearings or piston slap in the bore from wear. 3. It could be oil is not getting to all parts of the engine at right pressure.
Is there carpet in it? If not, that little tranny and engine puts off a lot of heat, that could be the main reason. Might need to check the fluid in your tranny or engine too, could be getting low, and if it's 108 degrees outside that could be it too. See if the fluids are ok, and if so... you'll love it this winter. :-)
First thing: Are you sure you have fuel? Your gauge could be stuck in full or 1/2 full etc. Your fuel filter could be blocked. Have you checked to see if you are not getting fuel to engine-check with a fuel pressure gauge & check for broke gas line anywhere from tank to engine.
Could be incorrect oil for the engine, Faulty oil pressure sending unit, Engine is idling to low in drive, Engine has worn bearings, Engine has worn oil pump,
if shes getting mad at you for no apparant reason then you should tell her/his what you feel about her/his anger. if that doesnt work you could tell her that you wont talk to her anymore unless she gets help by someone.
There could be many causes to this problem. A few things that could cause it would be, the fuel is not getting to the engine, meaning a problem with the fuel system (injectors, pump or filter), there is not enough electricity getting through the engine, or an o2 sensor going out.
