Hi, I had this same problem with my 92 Rivi. Ended up being the Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor which was only $30 new, and took me only 5 minutes to change. Shaune.
the tps is bad-throttle positioning sensor
dirty throttle plate.....
I just purchased the throttle sensor for a 2003 Buick rendezvous and was wondering if anyone could tell me where it located and how easy is it to put in.
If a windshield wiper switch on a 1995 Buick Riviera stays on when in the off position, it might be the fault of the windshield wiper relay. It could also be that the switch itself needs to be taken off and reset on the dial.
Does it have a funny smell? it could be leaky heater core
Is it overheating. Cheapest is a bad waterpump. Or worse, headgasket blown, or bad motor. Bad crankpulley could cause not to start, but would not cause overheating unless belt came off.
if it is the same kind of car mybe you have to see if its the same part number ornot call a dealership and they could tell you
no, check your fluid levels.
My 98 riviera was doing the same I put some stp complete fuel system cleaner and it stopped happening might be worth a try it was only $9
Could be the throttle plate is stuck - try to free with a screwdriver Could be the throttle plate is stuck - try to free with a screwdriver
It depends on if you have a carburetor or fuel injection but it is probably in the throttle body. You could have trash in your throttle body or the throttle body is worn out.
what u could do is take then to a garage so u cold get them changed or smash em that's wat i would do=)
