∙ 10y agoThe Swiss Alps are only in one country, which is Switzerland. The Alps as a whole run through a number of countries, the four main ones being France, Switzerland, Italy and Austria. Different sections are referred to by the names of the countries they are in, hence the Swiss Alps for the section in Switzerland.
