Physically
Middle Eastern people vary in skin color with some being of a German-type Caucasian hue and hazel eyes to a few shades lighter than Indian (Asia) hue with black hair and deep brown eyes. Most Middle Easterners, sit between these extremes and bare a similar coloration to Southern Spaniard or Southern Italians.
Religiously
Middle Eastern people are most often Muslim, but there are large minorities of Christians and Jews in the Middle East along with smaller populations of other faiths like Druze, Baha'i, Yazidi, and Zoroastrianism.
Customarily
Middle Eastern people are usually very warm, but earning a Middle Easterner's true friendship is harder than earning the trust of a Caucasian. However, once you have that trust, Middle Easterners are incredibly loyal and will defend their friends quite strongly. Middle Easterners are often loud and expressive, saying what they believe quite proudly and strongly. In places where politics can be openly discussed, you will find as many opinions as you do people. Middle Easterners love large social gatherings, especially with families during the holidays. Some Muslims drink (such as those in Lebanon and western Turkey) while most do not. Almost all non-Muslims drink. For those people who do drink, bars are often a common ground to meet people. Older men will often gather in cafés where they can shoot the breeze with other men. Women are tacitly prohibited from going to these cafés.
