Go to Google or Yahoo, type in beagle ,and click on images .It will show you a picture. Most beagles are tri-colored (brown, black & white) but some are just white with brown/tan spots. They are very cute, loving, friendly and great with kids. I would recommend beagles to all families.

A beagle looks like basset hound but with longer legs and a livelier personality. Beagles usually have a tricolor coat and a great nose. They have cute, droopy ears and a completely straight tail that's always wagging.

They are medium sized dogs that are completely white and fluffy (almost like a poodle). They have soft curly white hair (not fur) which straitens out after brushing them. They have folded over ears. They also have small curled tails that rest on their lower back. Also if you look at their faces head on it looks like three black dots in a mass of white (eyes and nose are the black).

The Beagle is a sturdy, hardy little hound dog which looks like a miniature Foxhound. The body is squarely-built and the skull is fairly long and slightly domed. The square muzzle is straight and medium in length. The large eyes are brown or hazel and are set well apart. The wide, pendant ears are low set and long. The black nose is broad with full nostrils. The feet are round and firm. The tail is set moderately high and never curled over the back. The coat is of medium length, close, hard, sleek and easy to care for. Any hound-type of coloring is acceptable including lemon, tri-color, black and tan, red and white, orange and white, or lemon and white, blue tick and red tick. Beagles have a distinct howl / bay of a bark when they are on the hunt.

A boarhound may be one of several breeds, including the Great Dane and German Mastiff, which were originally bred to hunt wild boar. Whatever the breed, it will be a large, muscular animal.
