A geofibre is basically a fibre that is used to make a clever resistant material.

Geofibre-is resistant to the harsh environments found downhole and can withstand temperatures up to 125°C. Geo50 SA joins a family of other fibers that have been successfully used in various geophysical environments

geofibres are used to make roads in the desert aswell. instead of hiring workers which will have to stop working every 5 minutes becos of weather conditions, they simply make a role of a geo fibre which is lighter and easier to apply to the surface.
