Sudo is actually spelled pseudo in this case. The top link when you Google "pseudo" gives: "The prefix pseudo (from Greek ψευδής "lying, false") is used to mark something as false, fraudulent, or pretending to be something it is not". "sudo" is a unix command to allow you to execute commands that you wouldn't usually have the privileges for.
