Ignition coils for diesel engine glow plugs, wait for the symbol to go out on the dash, 10 secs aprox and then start the engine
Glow plugs provide the heat for combustion in diesel engines, just like spark plugs are used to ignite regular gasoline in standard engines.
I am assuming you need to know what a dashboard symbol means. What does the symbol look like?
the bmw 320d is a diesel car therefore it does not have spark plugs as it uses pressure to ignite the fuel rather than a spark it does however have glow plugs which function to heat the engine internally when starting and will show up on the dashboard display as a spring like symbol if they need changing ie the light does not go out after the car starts rather it stays lit while driving then you need to change them
no. just use a socket to remove after removing electrical connects between the glow plugs. this is assuming you have a 1702 kubota diesel. almost like removing a spark plug out of a gas engine. one glow pump is hard to get out. may have to remove a ejector feed line for clearance. hope this helps.
Sounds like you need to change the glow plugs or the glow plug relay switch or both.
It looks like the word BRAKE. It is pronounced as BRAKE also.
Oil Can? Oil pressure low?
Traction Control.
it looks like a transmission or the check engine light will come on
Ive got an STDT aswell that doesn't like starting on the morning. Try changing the glow plugs for some new ones because old glow plugs don't heat up enough.
Are you talking about the dashboard 'glow' itself? That's not a light bulb, but a luminous panel that the dashboard information is printed on (things that don't move, like the speeds on the speedo or the revs on the tach). If that has gone out, you'll likely need to replace the entire dashboard...
