Could be EGR Valve.
A HO2 sensor (heated oxygen sensor) moniters the level of oxygen in the exhaust and sends that information to the engine control module.
On the Minivan it is the sensor in the exhaust on the back of the engine in the exhaust manifold. On an Intrepid/LHS/Concorde it is the pass side above cat oxygen sensor. On the Minivan it is the sensor in the exhaust on the back of the engine in the exhaust manifold. On an Intrepid/LHS/Concorde it is the pass side above cat oxygen sensor.
Exhaust
They should be in the exhaust system close to the engine ( either in the exhaust manifold outlets or the exhaust pipe ) before the exhaust enters the catalytic converters Bank 1 is the passenger side of the engine and sensor 1 is the upstream sensor Bank 2 is the driver side of the engine and sensor 1 is the upstream sensor on that side
This light usually indicates an emission control issue. In most cases it is due to the oxygen sensor in the exhaust.
Bank 1 is the drivers side of the engine. Sensor 1 will be the first sensor that is screwed into the exhaust pipe that is the closest to the engine/exhaust manifold.
That is the O2 sensor in the exhaust closest to the engine.
In the exhaust manifold behind the engine. In the exhaust manifold behind the engine.
On your V6 engine : Bank 1 is the passenger side of the engine Sensor 1 is in the exhaust pipe ( or exhaust manifold ) before the exhaust enters the catalytic converter ( upstream )
That would be an O2 sensor, it monitors the oxygen level in the exhaust and sends that info to the ECM (Engine Control Module).
There are two in the exhaust, behind the engine. There are two in the exhaust, behind the engine.
