There is no such thing as a: temperature switch, on your Ford focus, the coolant temperature sensor is located on the front of the engine.
The temperature sensor on a Ford Focus is located on top of the engine, near the upper radiator hose. It sends a constant signal to the vehicle's computer about its temperature.
Check alternator output with a voltmeterA fully charged battery should read approx. 12.8 without engine runningShould read 13.8-14.2 with engine running
no gas or fuel pump not working.
The check engine light is a " picture " of an engine , just to the left of the engine temperature gauge
they will test it for you at napa. Check the voltage at the battery terminals with the engine off and running. The voltage should increase and be greater than 12.
Where is the coolant temperature sensor on a 2001 ford focus?" Where is the coolant temperature sensor on a 2001 ford focus Where is the coolant temperature sensor on a 2002 ford focus
How do you turn of the engine on a new ford focus
5w-20
The low-speed fan will come on when your engine temperature reaches 180 degrees. The high speed fan will come on. When the engine temperature reaches 200 degrees.
Do NOT use Diesel fuel in a Ford Focus. The engine will stop running and you will have to drain the gas tank to rid the car of the diesel fuel. Gasoline engines are not designed to run on diesel. They do not have enough compression to cause the diesel fuel to combust The only engine used in a 2000 Ford Focus was the 2.0 which is NOT a diesel engine.
If you car engine is running hot and you are watching that temperature gauge climb higher and higher, especially while sitting in traffic, you know something is wrong. There is a normal process of elimination to follow to discover what the problem is, but first focus on the thermostat to see if it is the culprit before running out and buying a new one you may not even need. *also engine that runs too cool is often cause by a broken thermostat as well
