God called prophet Abraham to worship Him as the one and only one God with no partner, no companion, no son, no associate, and no equivalence. God called Abraham (or Ibrahim) to submit fully to Him and show full surrender to His will and called Abraham to call for Islam (that means full submission to God).

According to Islam, God told Abraham to move to Mecca and leave his wife and son there and then again he came back and built the Kaaba with his son.

also God said him to destroy the deities in his city when he was young.

In the following, it is mentioned where 'Abraham' is mentioned. It is mentioned

69 times in 63 verses (ayas)و refer to link below, some of them are as follows:

(1) And strive in His cause as ye ought to strive, (with sincerity and under discipline). He has chosen you, and has imposed no difficulties on you in religion; it is the cult of your father Abraham. It is He Who has named you Muslims, both before and in this (Revelation); that the Messenger may be a witness for you, and ye be witnesses for mankind! So establish regular Prayer, give regular Charity, and hold fast to Allah! He is your Protector - the Best to protect and the Best to help! (The Pilgrimage: 78)

(2) The same religion has He established for you as that which He enjoined on Noah - the which We have sent by inspiration to thee - and that which We enjoined on Abraham, Moses, and Jesus: Namely, that ye should remain steadfast in religion, and make no divisions therein: to those who worship other things than Allah, hard is the (way) to which thou callest them. Allah chooses to Himself those whom He pleases, and guides to Himself those who turn (to Him). (Consultation: 13)

(3) Those were some of the prophets on whom Allah did bestow His Grace,- of the posterity of Adam, and of those who We carried (in the Ark) with Noah, and of the posterity of Abraham and Israel of those whom We guided and chose. Whenever the Signs of (Allah) Most Gracious were rehearsed to them, they would fall down in prostrate adoration and in tears. (Mary: 58)

(4) When Abraham said: "Show me, Lord, how You will raise the dead, " He replied: "Have you no faith?" He said "Yes, but just to reassure my heart." Allah said, "Take four birds, draw them to you, and cut their bodies to pieces. Scatter them over the mountain-tops, then call them back. They will come swiftly to you. Know that Allah is Mighty, Wise." (The Cow: 260)

(5) And remember Abraham said: "My Lord, make this a City of Peace, and feed its people with fruits,-such of them as believe in Allah and the Last Day." He said: "(Yea), and such as reject Faith,-for a while will I grant them their pleasure, but will soon drive them to the torment of Fire,- an evil destination (indeed)!" (The Cow: 126)

(6) There is for you an excellent example (to follow) in Abraham and those with him, when they said to their people: "We are clear of you and of whatever ye worship besides Allah: we have rejected you, and there has arisen, between us and you, enmity and hatred for ever,- unless ye believe in Allah and Him alone": But not when Abraham said to his father: "I will pray for forgiveness for thee, though I have no power (to get) aught on thy behalf from Allah." (They prayed): "Our Lord! in Thee do we trust, and to Thee do we turn in repentance: to Thee is (our) Final Goal. (She that is to be examined: 4)

(7) Say: "We believe in Allah, and in what has been revealed to us and what was revealed to Abraham, Isma'il, Isaac, Jacob, and the Tribes, and in (the Books) given to Moses, Jesus, and the prophets, from their Lord: We make no distinction between one and another among them, and to Allah do we bow our will (in Islam)." (The Family of Imraan: 84)

(8) "Thus will thy Lord choose thee and teach thee the interpretation of stories (and events) and perfect His favour to thee and to the posterity of Jacob - even as He perfected it to thy fathers Abraham and Isaac aforetime! for Allah is full of knowledge and wisdom." (Joseph: 6)

(9) And remember that Abraham was tried by his Lord with certain commands, which he fulfilled: He said: "I will make thee an Imam to the Nations." He pleaded: "And also (Imams) from my offspring!" He answered: "But My Promise is not within the reach of evil-doers." (The Cow: 124)

(10) Say ye: "We believe in Allah, and the revelation given to us, and to Abraham, Isma'il, Isaac, Jacob, and the Tribes, and that given to Moses and Jesus, and that given to (all) prophets from their Lord: We make no difference between one and another of them: And we bow to Allah (in Islam)." (The Cow: 136)

(11) Hath not the story reached them of those before them?- the People of Noah, and 'Ad, and Thamud; the People of Abraham, the men of Midian, and the cities overthrown. To them came their messengers with clear signs. It is not Allah Who wrongs them, but they wrong their own souls. (The Repentance: 70)

(12) Were ye witnesses when death appeared before Jacob? Behold, he said to his sons: "What will ye worship after me?" They said: "We shall worship Thy god and the god of thy fathers, of Abraham, Isma'il and Isaac,- the one (True) Allah: To Him we bow (in Islam)." (The Cow: 133)

(13) In it are Signs Manifest; (for example), the Station of Abraham; whoever enters it attains security; Pilgrimage thereto is a duty men owe to Allah,- those who can afford the journey; but if any deny faith, Allah stands not in need of any of His creatures. (The Family of Imraan: 97)

(14) Or do ye say that Abraham, Isma'il Isaac, Jacob and the Tribes were Jews or Christians? Say: Do ye know better than Allah? Ah! who is more unjust than those who conceal the testimony they have from Allah? but Allah is not unmindful of what ye do! (The Cow: 140)

(15) Behold! We gave the site, to Abraham, of the (Sacred) House, (saying): "Associate not anything (in worship) with Me; and sanctify My House for those who compass it round, or stand up, or bow, or prostrate themselves (therein in prayer). (The Pilgrimage: 26)

(16) And who turns away from the religion of Abraham but such as debase their souls with folly? Him We chose and rendered pure in this world: And he will be in the Hereafter in the ranks of the Righteous. (The Cow: 130)

(17) We have sent thee inspiration, as We sent it to Noah and the Messengers after him: we sent inspiration to Abraham, Isma'il, Isaac, Jacob and the Tribes, to Jesus, Job, Jonah, Aaron, and solomon, and to David We gave the Psalms. (The Women: 163)

(18) "And I follow the ways of my fathers,- Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob; and never could we attribute any partners whatever to Allah: that (comes) of the grace of Allah to us and to mankind: yet most men are not grateful. (Joseph: 38)

(19) Say: "Verily, my Lord hath guided me to a way that is straight,- a religion of right,- the path (trod) by Abraham the true in Faith, and he (certainly) joined not gods with Allah." (The Cattle: 161)

(20) They say: "Become Jews or Christians if ye would be guided (To salvation)." Say thou: "Nay! (I would rather) the Religion of Abraham the True, and he joined not gods with Allah." (The Cow: 135)

(21) Or do they envy mankind for what Allah hath given them of his bounty? but We had already given the people of Abraham the Book and Wisdom, and conferred upon them a great kingdom. (The Women: 54)

(22) And remember Abraham and Isma'il raised the foundations of the House (With this prayer): "Our Lord! Accept (this service) from us: For Thou art the All-Hearing, the All-knowing. (The Cow: 127)

(23) That was the reasoning about Us, which We gave to Abraham (to use) against his people: We raise whom We will, degree after degree: for thy Lord is full of wisdom and knowledge. (The Cattle: 83)

(24) When Our Messengers came to Abraham with the good news, they said: "We are indeed going to destroy the people of this township: for truly they are (addicted to) crime." (The Spider: 31)

(25) And this was the legacy that Abraham left to his sons, and so did Jacob; "Oh my sons! Allah hath chosen the Faith for you; then die not except in the Faith of Islam." (The Cow: 132)

(26) Remember We made the House a place of assembly for men and a place of safety; and take ye the station of Abraham as a place of prayer; and We covenanted with Abraham and Isma'il, that they should sanctify My House for those who compass it round, or use it as a retreat, or bow, or prostrate themselves (therein in prayer). (The Cow: 125)

(27) Without doubt, among men, the nearest of kin to Abraham, are those who follow him, as are also this Prophet and those who believe: And Allah is the Protector of those who have faith. (The Family of Imraan: 68)

(28) And We gave (Abraham) Isaac and Jacob, and ordained among his progeny Prophethood and Revelation, and We granted him his reward in this life; and he was in the Hereafter (of the company) of the Righteous. (The Spider: 27)

(29) And We sent Noah and Abraham, and established in their line Prophethood and Revelation: and some of them were on right guidance. But many of them became rebellious transgressors. (The Iron: 26)

(30) Abraham was not a Jew nor yet a Christian; but he was true in Faith, and bowed his will to Allah's (Which is Islam), and he joined not gods with Allah. (The Family of Imraan: 67)

(32) And remember We took from the prophets their covenant: As (We did) from thee: from Noah, Abraham, Moses, and Jesus the son of Mary: We took from them a solemn covenant: (The Clans: 7)

(33) So naught was the answer of (Abraham's) people except that they said: "Slay him or burn him." But Allah did save him from the Fire. Verily in this are Signs for people who believe. (The Spider: 24)

(34) Hast thou not Turned thy vision to one who disputed with Abraham About his Lord, because Allah had granted him power? Abraham said: "My Lord is He Who Giveth life and death." He said: "I give life and death". Said Abraham: "But it is Allah that causeth the sun to rise from the east: Do thou then cause him to rise from the West." Thus was he confounded who (in arrogance) rejected faith. Nor doth Allah Give guidance to a people unjust. (The Cow: 258)

In Genesis chapter 20 God told Abraham to offer his only son Isaac to Him as a sacrifice.

Gen 22:1-18 MKJV And it happened after these things that God tested Abraham, and said to him, Abraham! And he said, Behold me. (v.2) And He said, Take now your son, your only one, Isaac, whom you love. And go into the land of Moriah, and offer him there for a burnt offering upon one of the mountains which I will name to you. (v.3) And Abraham rose up early in the morning, and saddled his ass, and took two of his young men with him, and Isaac his son. And he split the wood for the burnt offering, and rose up and went to the place of which God had told him. (v.4) Then on the third day, Abraham lifted up his eyes and saw the place afar off. (v.5) And Abraham said to his young men, You stay here with the ass. And I and the boy will go on to this way and worship, and come again to you. (v.6) And Abraham took the wood of the burnt offering and laid it on Isaac his son. And he took the fire in his hand, and a knife. And they both went together. (v.7) And Isaac spoke to Abraham his father and said, My father. And he said, Here am I, my son. And he said, Behold the fire and the wood. But where is the lamb for a burnt offering? (v.8) And Abraham said, My son, God will provide Himself a lamb for a burnt offering. So they both went together. (v.9) And they came to the place which God had told him of. And Abraham built an altar there and laid the wood in order. And he bound his son Isaac and laid him on the altar, on the wood. (v.10) And Abraham stretched out his hand and took the knife to slay his son. (v.11) And the Angel of Jehovah called to him from the heavens and said, Abraham! Abraham! And he said, Here am I. (v.12) And He said, Do not lay your hand on the lad, nor do anything to him. For now I know that you fear God, since you have not withheld your son, your only one, from Me. (v.13) And Abraham lifted up his eyes, and looked. And, behold, a ram behind him was entangled in a thicket by its horns. And Abraham went and took the ram and offered it up for a burnt offering instead of his son. (v.14) And Abraham called the name of that place Jehovah Will See; so that it is said until this day, In the mount of Jehovah it will be seen. (v.15) And the Angel of Jehovah called to Abraham out of the heavens the second time, (v.16) and said, I have sworn by Myself, says Jehovah; because you have done this thing, and have not withheld your son, your only one; (v.17) that in blessing I will bless you, and in multiplying I will multiply your seed like the stars of the heavens, and as the sand which is upon the seashore. And your Seed shall possess the gate of His enemies. (v.18) And in your Seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed, because you have obeyed My voice.

In Judaism and Christianity, it is believed that God asked Abraham to sacrifice his son, Isaac. However, modern Islamic belief is that God asked Abraham to sacrifice his other son, Ishmael.
Abraham's near sacrifice of his son is described in sura 37, but the text does not state which son was to be sacrificed. The bulk of early Islamic interpreters examined the text and decided that the son was Isaac. They noted that the sacrifice occurred early, before Abraham travelled to Mecca with Ishmael. Also, every time God promised Abraham a son in the Koran, the son is named as Isaac. Therefore, when Abraham prayed for a son at the start of the story, he would have been praying for Isaac.
Other interpreters relied on the fact that God had already promised that Isaac would have a son and, since God does not break promises, would not have asked for Isaac to be sacrificed. Also, Abraham is being asked to sacrifice a son when he would seem to be too old to have another, which would only apply to his first son, Ishmael.

The scholar Reuven Firestone collated more than 200 medieval Islamic commentaries and concluded that 130 named Isaac and 133 named Ishmael. Over time, the proponents of Ishmael prevailed. Eventually Muslims came to believe that the Jews had dishonestly introduced Isaac into the story because they believe he is their father, while Ishmael is believed to be the father of the Arabs.

Who was asked to sacrifice his son in the bible?

God did not ask anyone to kill His Son, but He asked His Son to die for the sin of the world. Jesus (God's Son) said, "The reason my Father [God] loves me is that I lay down my life-only to take it up again. No one takes it from me, but I lay it down of my own accord. I have authority to lay it down and authority to take it up again. This command I received from my Father" (John 10:17-18). So even though God used humans to kill Jesus, God Himself was the One Who sacrificed His only Son (and then rose him from the dead) because He loved the world. John 3:16 says "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life." God loves you and that He has a wonderful plan for your life. God asked Abraham to sacrifice his son Isaac. Abraham bound Isaac and was going to kill him, but an angel intervened and Isaac was not killed. God did this so Abraham could better understand how much love God has by giving his only begotten son to be cruelly killed to save mankind.
