I have found that the taillights on that model Jeep are very finicky. You will need to prop up the prongs on the light assembly without breaking it. At that point you should get a connection.
Check sockets and grounds
your left and right bulbs are problay bad they are two filament bulbs the park filiments are good and the brake filament is bad
brake relay or sensor
Check the brake light switch located on the brake pedal lever. If there is power to the switch but nothing coming out replace it. Did you check the bulbs? Is there power to the rear sockets?
You need to check the wiring for power to the bulbs.
might have a short in the wiring to the light socket!! same happen to me...
Check the bulbs in case they have fused, next check the fuse, and finally it could be the brake light switch which may need replacing
Could be ALL your bulbs but more likely to be the flasher relay.
We found the answer to the above question Thank you
Either your turn signal bulbs are out or the wiring leading to your turn signals is not properly connected. Most likely your bulbs are out which will only cost a few bucks.
AnswerThe bulbs for the brake lights are usually separate from the normal tail light bulbs. Check and replace the brake bulbs first, and if they are still not working examine the fuses, switch and wiring.
If you have a brake light at the top of your rear windshield, check those bulbs. Hard to determine if only one of them is out but that is probably your problem - worked for me.
