Could be a bum fuel injector. Pull number 6 spark plug again, if it is wet you have a spark problem. If the plug is bone dry you have a fuel problem, probably a bad injector. Swap injector with another cylinder and see if the misfire switches cylinders or remains on number 6 cylinder.
Could be a bad wire on the #6 cylinder or the ignition coil could be putting out less than needed voltage.
A coilpack on a 2002 Saturn L200 can be replaced in shop or by the owner. If the owner is making the replacement the owner's manual or a Chilton can be used to assist in the replacing of the coilpack.
Low compression in one cylinder can mean several things. The valves or piston rings may need to be replaced. There may be a crack on the engine, or the head gasket may have blown. The engine should be diagnosed properly to see what exactly is the cause of the low compression.
The coil on the 2.5l is in the distributor. To the best of my knowledge it is not serviceable. The distributor must be replaced.
When you replaced the plugs, did you check the compression? Did any of the plugs look different than the others? Low compression in one cylinder can cause misfiring. But then, so can a faulty distributor cap.
The rings could be bad and may needto be replaced. Try getting a compression test to see if they are bad or not. The reason it would run better warm is because the piston and rings expand when warm and this would cause a better seal between the cylinder and the cylinder wall. this could be caused by a fuel problem, not spark. check to see if your getting spark to the plug. ck to see if the injector is firing, and run a compression test on that cylinder
Run a compression test. If only one cylinder has low compression, it's probably a damaged valve or pushrod. If the compression is low in all cylinders the cam is probably not timed correctly.
The clutch has two main parts; the master clutch cylinder and the slave cylinder. Follow the line down from the master cylinder to find the slave. Most of the time the slave needs to be rekitted or replaced and then bled. That should fix it.
You need to check the compression in #2 and #4 cylinders and compare them. A good cylinder should have at least 140 to 150 LBS. of compression. If #2 is 20 LBS. lower or even lower then that it means you have valve problem on #2 cylinder. You may even have a rocker arm off or a valve spring broken on that cylinder. PULL VALVE COVER AND CHECK. Check push rods on #2 cylinder too. They could be bent. HOPE I HELPED
Your engine has burnt valves or worn rings. To find out which remove the plugs from 2&3, pour a teaspoon of oil into each cylinder and carry out compression test again. I hope you are using a bona-fide tester and not your thumb. because if its your thumb you might as well shove it up your nose for all that is worth. If compression has increased noticeably, rings need replacing. If not, the valves need to be ground and reseated or replaced
It probably is something in the emissions. O2 sensor what year and make
yes in short the metal contracts when it is cold thus giving you less compression, that or it has scratches through the cylinder sleeve or it could be a bad ring but if its the whole engine not just one cylinder its the cold u just need to let it warm up more
