When you insert key into ignition switch and turn it to the left you are turning on the ACC circuit. It will allow you to operate radio, windows and other accesories, but it does not turn on fuel pump and other engine controls. It saves battery power for when you need to operate vehicle components without engine being on.
No it doesn't. The acc wire on your stereo is for accessory from your ignition switch. That's so you can turn your car key back and run your stereo without turning on the engine.
there is not one.
sounds like the memory wire and acc wire are backwards
power for amp IT GIVE YOU A POWER SOURCE WICH IS SUPPOSED TO BE HOOKED UP TO THE ACC (ACCESSORY) WIRE FROM YOUR CAR WHICH WILL GO ON AND OFF WITH THE IGNITION. THIS IS NOT A CONSTANT POWER SOURCE, DO NOT HOOK YOUR STATION MEMORY OR CLOCK TO THIS POWER SOURCE
the ACC wire from the stereo is connected to constant power (+12V)
To wire an ignition barrel in the Citroen Saxo, begin by disconnecting the wire at the negative terminal of the battery. A lead wire has to go to the ACC terminal on the ignition barrel. The starter relay wire goes to the ST terminal and the ignition wire is connected to the IGN terminal.
The wire harness for the stereo is suitable for the stereo power. The "ignition" (ACC) wire that is convenient to use for the stereo/accessories is the power wire for the fan control knob. The fan control only gets power in "accessories" or "on" therefore is as good as a remote. __==__-- -- -- ---- -- -- -----^ (Power pin, looking at the front of the fan control plug) (To be sure you are using the right wire (before cutting it), insert accessory wire into the front of plug and see if the stereo works with the key in the ACC position.)
It stands for accessory ground. Each load or accessory has to to have a "power" (+) wire and a ground (-) wire in order to supply the component/accessory with the needed voltage to operate.
Usually the remote wire is the blue wire. Although not all CD players have a remote wire. The easy way to find out if you're player has a remote wire is to go onto the manufacturer's website and check the spec's.
look at the fuse box and find a acc circuit,If you have a test light check to make sure that the acc terminal you use is a keyed hot. When the key is on it will light the test light and when the key is turned to the off position it will turn the test light off.Make sure you use an inline 15 amp fuse. You can use a spade connector to plug into the fuse box acc terminal.THe ground wire can be connected to any metal bracket under the dash as long as it it a good clean ground. Most fuse boxes have 2 or 3 acc circuits.
The easiest way is to buy a wiring harness for your specific vehicle. It can void warranties and cause electrical issues if you start cutting wires under the dash. Use a fuse tap to connect the acc wire to a fuse that does not have power with key off. If you decide to cut wires get a 9 volt battery and touch the speaker wires from your car to it the speaker will pop telling you what speaker that wire is for. Lable the wires as you go and the connect red wire to acc. as said above and yellow wire to constant power, ground the black wire, and hook up speakers using stereo manual and the labels you created.
take the batt constant, and the acc. and connect them to the pos clip, and the neg. wire to the neg. clip
