i have had cummins,mack,cat,Ford and international diesels, Volvo and Detroit
the 4 ball test was payed for by amsoil,course it would say it was best
take yourself along to any truckstop in the nation and see what oil they sell, they sell rotella not amsoil. and you surely do not need heavy duty marine oil in a truck engine.
