its a common failure mode for Dodge abs module. You can get it fixed by bba remanufacturing in Massachussetts, bbareman.com.
A 1995 Dodge Ram does not have a transfer case control module. The transfer case is mechanically controlled.
A 1999 Ram does not have a transfer case control module.
A 2003 Dodge diesel manual transmission will work in 1990 Dodge diesel manual and bolt to the 1990's transfer case with little fabrication.

Two wire sensor, front driver side of transmission case.
The "voltage regulator" was a function controlled by the logic module in the 1987 SC. I think this was the case for 1985 as well. The logic module is located in the passenger side kick panel. A common problem with these cars was this function of the logic module being "fried" by a poor ground.
i found mine under the dash on the right side of the steering column, it has 3 plugs going into it. hope this helps. andy
That year did not have a controll module.
The transfer case control module has detected a fault and set a code. Have it checked for codes.
