The best way to increase your glutes is to do squats or lunges, with weights. Lunges are known for building the butt and are much safer than squats. The butt is a huge muscle, so you build it with the Weightlifting. After working out, make sure you eat enough protein, or you will just lose weight. Aerobic activities are great for your health, but if you are thin like I am, they can burn too many calories and make you skinnier. If you do squats, make sure you have someone who knows what they are doing (REALLY knows, not some 14 year old wanna be weightlifter) spotting you- you do not want to push your knees over your feet or harm your knees. Squats can drastically damage your knees. Lunges would be safer. You can carry hand weights around your house or basement while you do the lunges, or you can do them in place.
