Probably the Crank Position Sensor. Could be a short in the wiring, is there a trouble code triggered in the ECM? If the check engine light stays on after a few seconds of having the key in the "On" position, check the trouble codes by turning the key off and on 3 times it will blink out the code with short flashes then a pause then more short flashes. First set of flashes are the 1st digit, second set is second digit. So two short blinks and then 4 short blinks would be a "Code 24". Google the codes for a list of trouble codes and find out what's wrong. I have seen in some occaisions the crankshaft sensor goes bad. I believe it is locaed t the back of the engine in or near the bell housing Take out the ign module and have it tested.
One big one that goes across all 6 spark plugs.
look for the problem in the ignition switch.
If the Bravada is not starting but the engine turns over, check for spark at the plugs. If there is no spark the ignition system will need troubleshooting to find the problem.
A 1997 Jeep Wrangler uses green coolant.
Yes,
It should. A 2005 wrangler hardtop fits a 1997 wrangler.
If by magnetic pick up you are refering to the ignition system, the cam sensor is in the distributor, and the crank sensor is in the bell housing.
first you must tilt the steering wheel to the up position then take the casing off of the bottom of the steering column. the ignition switch will be located right behind the actual key.
no will not fit
No.
The TJ's ran from 97to 05 the top should fit with little or problem
Windshield wipers not turning off is not a common problem in the 1997 Jeep Wrangler. Remove the windshield wiper fuse to turn them off.
