Assuming we are talking about the heater, two likely senarios are the fan motor has burned out on one speed or the fan switch is defective. Could also be a wire problem but highly unlikely because ti is a plug in which would most likely result in complete failure. I would geuss it to be the fan motor is burned out on one speed. At some point, it will probably work only on one speed and then burn out completely.
I had the same problem and it was the "blower motor resistor box" which is located right next to the blower motor. If the blower motor works at all it is fine. The speed at which it turns is regulated by resistors that limit the amount of current that flows to the motor. It is possible that the switches could be faulty but since there are two bad I doubt this is the issue.
either the switch or the fan motor
HOW DO I REPLACE 1998 camry ignition switch?
Blower resistor must not be functioning properly. It should be replaced
1997 Toyota Camry ignition switch removal
the resistor for the blower motor is busted blower works on high with out it
My Haynes manual shows it under the passenger's side dashboard, near the firewall. It looks like there's a bundle of wires running to it from the switch and the blower motor itself.
? wiper switch toyota camry 1999 replace
how do you change turn signal switch on 1999 toyota camry
I would check the fuse first. I take it that the blower motor doesn't work in any speed setting. Switch could be bad. I am not sure if blower has a relay. Owners manual should show all fuse and relay locations.
The blower motor resistor is under the dash and glove compartment on the right side look up on the firewall and or right side. You should be able to remove without much problem.
The signal light switch, on your Toyota Camry, can be changed by unplugging the signal relay switch. Plug in the new relay switch.
The blower motor is located on the passenger side under the dash and behind the glove box.
Turn the stupid headlight switch off. DeeDeeDee I have the same problem with my 87 Camry. You need to change the stop light switch.
The ECT or the Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor is a switch. This switch is located on the bottom of the radiator in the 1996 Camry.
On top of it.
A 2000 Toyota Camry has an ignition switch fuse location in the main fuse panel. It helps protect the switch and the rest of the ignition system from surges.
Check the fuse box. The problem is probably a burnt out tail-light switch.
If you cannot get your car out of park it means that the neural safety switch is malfunctioning.Try to erase all codes in ECU, start the car and switch to another gear. If it did not work check that you have connected the alternator properly and it does work. In case if the alternator is fine you will have to check the safety switch. Camry is "famous" because of such problem.
The blower is not blowing. Check for burnt fuse or faulty switch.
Because the air blower switcher was worn off for all the switch positions but high. It's cause by the fact that people usually don't use the high setting
magnetic clutch switch is always the solution. bought mine from www.bobbridge.com for an excellent discount. this should solve your problem.
Trouble code P0121 means:Throttle/pedal position sensor/switch A circuit range/performance problem
There is no fuel reset switch on a 1999 Camry that can be operated manually. There is an automatic reset switch located near the fuel pump. This is a relay switch. If the fuel pump is shut off, the relay switch might need to be replaced.
The blower motor resistor is defective.
Remove the glove compartment door. Should be somewhere in sight.
