Sounds like the throtle position sensor is bad. Have it checked on a computer at a garage. The parts store computers cannot give good codes to narrow it down.
The problem is your rack and pinion .
catlytic converter is plugged and needs replaced
the temp control is not the problem. the air direction switch is most likely to be the problem
I have a 2000 Daewoo Nubira and I had the control arm replaced and it fixed the problem.
Idle air control? Fuel pump? Coil?
the problem is the switches themselves, just poorly designed.
i have the same problem, already replaced the switch. Its the motor. its around $90 new
There is one issue for this fault. The manifold runner control actuator needs replaced and this will solve the problem.
I have the same problem. I believe the idle air control valve either needs to be cleaned or replaced.
I have a turn signal light that keeps flashing regardless of the control arm position. I think that the problem is in the turn signal control relay but I don't know where it is located. I did find the 3 prong relay located behind the center console but this is not the problem because I replaced it and have the same problem.
I have a 2000 Malibu and I am having the same problem. There is an electrical problem. I have yet to figure out how to solve it, but turning on the AC blows the fuse. Ive had the instrument cluster replaced, so dont go and do that, because your car will still do the same thing. Your BCM (Body Control Module) may need to be replaced, or it is just a bad wiring. If you have replaced your battery, that may be a part of the problem. I know this information is not much, but hopefully it will help. I have a 2000 Malibu and I am having the same problem. The idle control valve needs to be replaced. It's mounted behind the throttle body. Just replaced mine to fix same problem. Cost $65.00 at auto parts store.
