these engines have torque to yeald head bolts. there is a process outlined in the repair manuel telling the steps to properly tighten them but there is no total torque number. they should be replaced and should not be reused

Bolt sequence, start with the center two bolts and work your way out. If you are not familiar with standard head bolt tightening sequences it would be a good idea to have a trained tech do the work.
