I'm assuming it's the same as the Ford Ranger :
( 3 - 1 )
( 2 - 4 ) spark plug wires to exhaust ( passenger side ) sparkplugs
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
( 4 - 2 )
( 1 - 3 ) spark plug wires cross over top of engine to intake ( driver side ) sparkplugs
The firing order is 1 - 3 - 4 - 2
The engine cylinders are numbered 1 to 4 , from front to rear
