While trying to find out the worlds largest religion, lets keep in mind that religious donominations are actualy seperate religion, witch means that Catholicism, Lutheranism, ect are all Christian religions but they are seperate religions. Same with Islam, Sunni and Shia Islam are seperate beliefs. But how can we know what is a religion and what is a cult. Cult groups tend to brainwash people, so we need to eliminate cults to find out the largest religion, some people say Catholicism is a cult, but it is not, here is why, the pope (witch is the head of Catholicism) is not worshiped by Catholics, he is simply filling the role of St.Peter acroding to Catholicism. Islam, on the other hand is not a religion, cults tend to promote viloence, Islam promotes vilonce, Islam brainwashes people, you can reserch that for your self, it is cult like activity. So we have eliminet Islam as a religion, that leaves Catholicism as the larges religion.
