Some cars have a safety feature that won't allow you to drive them if the brake pads are severly worn. Remove each tire and check pads. Replace if bad. You may need to reset ABS if the light does not go off. Some cars will reset after removing - battery cable for 20 min. Chris
The abs light stays on when the computer has detected a malfunction and set a trouble code.
check the water level... if that's good try a new thermostat...
You may need to change the indicator bulb, that's what was wrong with mine.

Because your foot is on the gas and something is wrong with your engine.
The security wire is either disconnected or shorting.
That's the computer's way of telling you that something is wrong and it wants you to read the diagnostic code.

New Alternator BUT Warning Light Still Stays OnMaybe there was nothing wrong with the alternator you replaced, and the problem is somewhere else in the charging system!Although possible, it is highly unlikely that a new alternator would be defective.
Cold air from the defrost indicates that the air doors are in the wrong position. The doors are vacuum controlled in most vehicles. check the vacuum system for a leak.
